Many years ago, Tabitha made the move I’m sure many women wish they had made: she wrote her name and number on the receipt of a cute guy she was serving. “Back then I was very shy, and he was very hot, I could barely talk to him.” This move worked! They went on several dates before David’s work took him to Canada and Tabitha’s work took her to Alaska. “We reconnected after a couple of years and things were much different; we were much different people. After that we were pretty much inseparable.”
I had Tabitha share a few words about the moment David proposed. The location was the inspiration for this engagement shoot.
“We had been together for a little over two years, and we went down to Los Angeles to see my sister graduate. On the way home, we drove all the way up Highway 1, which took forever, but it was the most beautiful drive I’ve ever been on. As the sun set over the ocean, he got down on one knee, and he said that he always wants to come home to me, no matter where he is in the world, or where we end up, it’s always home whenever he’s with me.”
