Hey there! My name is Kelly, and I am thrilled that you are considering me for your wedding photographer.
I focus on delivering photos of romantic moments with a dreamlike feel that you will cherish for years to come. Weddings are a time for laughter and love, and my photography emphasizes these qualities. Your wedding photos should capture the day just as you remember it and bring a smile to your face. The goal of my photography is to capture the genuine emotions of my couples all while making them feel at ease. At the end of the day, I want it to feel like we’re old friends. I’m not just your photographer. I’m your cell phone holder, makeup checker, tissue supplier, and dress fluffer. If this sounds like the photographer you want on your wedding day, then let’s get started!
If you are interested in sharing your story, I would love to hear from you. I’m based out of Lodi in California’s Central Valley, but I am available to travel throughout Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond.
Kelly’s fun facts
>> When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me on a road trip, dancing, or binge-watching “Friends” for the 100th time. Hanging with my animals and game nights also rate high on my fun meter.
>>I can’t live without tea: black, green, herbal, with cream or without. It’s how I start and finish my day!
>>I am a blues fusion dancer. A few years ago, I had absolutely no clue this community existed, and now I can’t imagine not being a part of it. Picture ballroom + swing + free style partner dancing all mixed together.
I grew up with photographers in the family. Quickly, I became both a model and an assistant to my family members, carrying their bags and posing when the lighting was spectacular. How could I not develop an interest in photography?
My parents bought me my first camera in middle school. I started photographing anyone who would let me. My camera became a part of me; my high school friends were shocked when it was not glued to my hand. When the time came to decide on my major, the thought occurred to me that maybe I could do this for a living.
In 2009, I began the journey to becoming a professional photographer by attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, majoring in art and design with a concentration in photography. The business came soon after. I have loved turning my passion into my career. After spending years on the Central Coast, I have returned to the Central Valley. Here, I specialize in wedding photography. In addition, I also photograph families, graduating seniors, and proposals.
